Details

plotTF(ff, tf, mag_ax=None, phase_ax=None, **kwargs)[source][github]¶

Plot a SISO transfer function

Parameters:

ff (frequency array)
tf (complex transfer function array)
mag_ax (optional existing axis to plot the magnitude on)
phase_ax (optional existing axis to plot the phase on)
kwargs (matplotlib keyword arguments)

Returns:

fig

Return type:

transfer function figure if mag_ax and phase_ax are not given

Examples

Plot two transfer functions on the same plot >>> fig = plotTF(F_Hz, tf1, label=’TF1’) >>> plotTF(F_Hz, tf2, *fig.axes, label=’TF2’, ls=’–‘) >>> fig.axes[0].legend()
